Torae - What It Sound Like (Feat. Pav Bundy)

Official music video for "What It Sound Like" featuring Pav Bundy. Produced by !llmind off Torae's album "For The Record". Which is an album really worth listening if you haven't allready.

Mega Trife & Nonsense - Close To You

Official video for the fourth single from the forthcoming Mega Trife & Nonsense LP Full Circle. Album coming Winter '12.

Quelle Chris - Milky

Like a joyful walk through a sunny LA suburb, Quelle plays it cool with a laid-back visual for the equally relaxed track. Quelle isn't trying to berate you with rhymes this go round, he is more interested in creating a mood. For the self-produced effort Quelle flips a ballad on its head, stretching and morphing it into an awkwardly wonderful canvas. Clearly enjoying himself on "Milky", even Quelle's happenstance songs have an undeniable X factor. The man is hip-hop, straight up and down. Keep your ear tuned to Quelle Chris.

MHz Legacy - Gone

New music video from the hip hop group, MegaHertz.

J Bizness - Destination

From the J. Bizness album "Flight Plan". Short hip hop instrumental. J. Bizness' Flight Plan is well over 30,000 feet at this point. The instrumental album from the LA producer took off in August and has been exploring the skies since. Today, Mello Music Group and director Erick Lee share the visuals for "Destination," one of the more introspective, almost somber cuts from the LP. Airports and plane travel in general have always had a bit of an introspective element to them. They are places of connections, departures and arrivals. Playing off the dramatic vocal chop, pulsating drums and emotive synths, Lee visually matches the mood by seamlessly combining shots of the people and planes that make travel possible. Like a plane taking off just at dusk, "Destination" is moody and cerebral. You can catch a connection to Flight Plan at your local independent music retailer and online everywhere.

D-Sisive - Don't Turn The Lights Out (Feat. Neverending White Lights)

There was a time in Derek Christoff's life when he didn't have many words. It's not that he didn't have a story; but he was stuck on the start. In the late 90s, the young MC known as D-Sisive came up quickly in the Toronto hip-hop community with a string of well-liked singles, but his burgeoning profile was stopped cold with the illness and death of both of his parents in a six-year span. Grief and depression stole his creativity and motivation for the better part of a decade, but in a moment fit for fable, his lyrical inspiration returned suddenly one day while singing along to the Beach Boys on the radio. It was the new start D-Sisive's story needed. And he hasn't stopped since. 2008's The Book EP was nominated for a Juno and its single "Nobody With A Notepad" won the SOCAN ECHO Songwriting Prize. 2009's Let the Children Die was long-listed for that year's Polaris Music Prize (and would later get an elaborate send-off with a full-band live funeral after legal issues forced it out of production). The same year, he released Jonestown as a free download. Less than a year later, we got Vaudeville, and a year after that, the Jonestown sequel, Jonestown 2: Jimmy Go Bye Bye, back and forth between his story and others'. Along the way were a series of Hijacked singles, with D-Sisive rapping his own words over the music of such songs as Grizzly Bear's "Two Weeks" and Sigur Ros' "Festival," an homage to just some of his comprehensive influences and tastes. On 11-13-2012 D-Sisive released his latest project, Run With the Creeps (TheD-LuxeEdition), it's a deeper dive back into himself and with his wide-open online look at the creative process along the way, his most honest yet. The hunger, pain, humor, and scrutiny have been on display every day; he's forever brazen in ambition and as credulous as a kid. He's writing the whole thing down, sparing no detail and certainly no time. D-Sisive is a disciple of hip-hop and a Bowie devotee. His eleven-year-old imagination was captured by Fresh Prince and DJ Jazzy Jeff's "Nightmare On My Street," and later, by a legendary punk spectacle as heard on Creep single "GG Allin." There's something new everyday, and so he's running, trying to keep up with himself, trying to connect with his fellow creeps. There was a time he didn't have these words; didn't know how to say them. So now he's making sure he doesn’t miss even one.

J Bizness - Giraffes (Feat. The Black Opera)

Since taking off this past August, J. Bizness’ instrumental album Flight Plan has gotten much mileage with fans and critics alike. The album, the first in Mello Music Group’s Instrumental Series, is a collection of 24 selections with a crisp, spacey sound inspired by the freedom of flight. Back when Flight Plan dropped, as a celebratory bonus, MMG leaked a track by The Black Opera over one of J.’s heatrocks. The result was “Giraffes,” a testament to the sinister seduction of addiction. Now the involved parties are proud to share the visuals for “Giraffes,” directed by Andy Madeleine. The video features our perpetually loc’d out duo narrating the story of a fine young woman descending into the habit of getting high. Over J.’s smooth, electronic and airy production, TBO’s morality tale is a bang

Black Dave - On Da Map

A special delivery from Black Dave, who unveils his latest visual effort for “On Da Map.” The clip showcases the young rapper on a mission throughout New York with a mysterious package. MidaZ The Beast - President (IMAKEMADBEATS Remix)

MidaZ the Beast's timely video for "President", off of his excellent LOOPS album.

The Black Opera - Balcony

Like a pair of film noir anti-heroes, The Black Opera don evening attire to celebrate the release of Libretto: Of King Legend with the release of the visual interpretation of Balcony. “Sometimes people choose to mask themselves with character.” The text that prefaces Andy Madeleine’s visuals for The Black Opera’s “Balcony,” could be read as a double entendre. The Black Opera is choosing to mask themselves with the TBO mythology as a way to reintroduce the raw back into the game while at the same time, the larger-than-life corny personas The Opera roasts in the songs lyrics are masking themselves in an absurd character - perpetuating as real.

Iron Solomon - Get On My Level

In March hip-hop artist Iron Solomon released his debut album, Monster. Ahead of its official release, GRAMMY.com has your exclusive first look at the video for "Get On My Level." "This album, the Monster album, is the album that I always dreamed of making," said Solomon. "Growing up in New York City, you have the highest-priced, high-rise apartments right across the street from the lowest-income housing projects. It's an overlapping interplay of cultures that crisscross at every corner and I want my music to be that way." Born in New York, Solomon was instantly attracted to hip-hop after listening to N.W.A.'s Straight Outta Compton. With an irreverent attitude and influences ranging from Nirvana to Jay-Z, Solomon emerged as a top freestyle artist at MC battles nationwide, garnering millions of YouTube viewers and praise from GRAMMY winners such as Snoop Dogg and Busta Rhymes. In 2011 Solomon released Redrum Radio, a 16-track mixtape. Monster was produced by Solomon and features collaborations with Talib Kweli ("The Empire"), Recording Academy Trustee Paul Wall ("Follow Me"), Novel ("Classic Girl"), Daryl "D.M.C. " McDaniels ("Sucker MC's" ), and Cassidy ("Rule #4081"), among others. The album's lyrical themes offer a window into Solomon's New York upbringing, his journey as an artist and his personal relationships. A video for the album's first song, "Almost There," premiered in December 2011.
