Rich Quick - Say You Love Me

Born and raised in Woodbury New Jersey, in his high school years, Rich Quick was the co-founder of a hip-hop group appropriately named “Rag Tag” because of their diverse and disorderly composition. In April 2012 Rich released, I'm With The DJ, and while touring for the project and after a show, Rich was approached by Jeff Davis aka Stress the White Boy. Stress and Chuck Treece, a powerhouse production duo referred to as STREECE (who have previously produced for Lil Wayne, The Roots, Gym Class Heroes, Travie McCoy, Tyga, Good Charlotte, Sting & Billy Joel among many others) and after hitting it off they began working with Rich on material that would eventually turn into his forthcoming Sad Songz EP which will be released on 8-20-2013. The work on Sad Songz captured the attention of multi-Grammy award winning artist, Tim "Timebomb" Armstrong of Rancid & Transplants fame. Armstrong, a longtime friend of Stress, collaborated on a track with STREECE and Rich. The track entitled "Stay True" became part of the Tim Timebomb and Friends project and quickly became a fan favorite. The diversity and authenticity of Rich Quick's Sad Songz EP (which features collaborations with Rakka Iriscience, Vinnie Paz, Jakk Frost, Reef The Lost Cauze) has already caught the attention of Allhiphop.com, Magnet Magazine, MSN.com, Urb.com, Respect-mag.com, Hiphopdx.com & Philadelphia Weekly among many others.

K Gaines - Super ID

Brooklyn rapper K Gaines presents his video for "Super ID", the new single from his forthcoming solo debut Rumspringa: The Wildman Chronicles. "Super Id" and the entire Rumspringa album is produced by NYC duo 2 Hungry Bros, known for their work with Homeboy Sandman and C Rayz Walz, and features an appearance from Brooklyn duo Cella Dwellas. Gaines was cast as the lead actor in the award-winning short film Kung Fu Bum (click to watch trailer), one of several visuals Gaines and 2 Hungry Bros are releasing to commemorate Rumspringa's release. "'Super ID" is me introducing myself to the world as a solo artist," says Gaines. "I'm letting the people know where I stand and what I represent in this convoluted hip hop arena. Working with 2 Hungry Bros was interesting because they're a force to be reckoned with. Their love for, and understanding of music helped push me in the right direction. They allowed me to be me and helped me achieve a certain freeness on every song." Rumspringa drops September 10.

Fresh off of winning his very first Grammy with Tedeschi Trucks Band for Best Blues Album of the year in 2012 (Maurice was the horn arranger for the 11-piece ensemble), Maurice “Mobetta” Brown has also appeared on LP’s from Santigold, Ski Beatz, Prodigy, Talib Kweli, Cee-Lo, Diddy, Musiq Soulchild and countless others. Maurice is prepping his latest release, Maurice vs Mobetta, or, rather, Maurice’s Jazz side versus his Hip-Hop persona. Maurice vs Mobetta features appearances from Talib Kweli, Consequence, Prodigy, Jean Grae and production from Fyre Dept, DJ Scratch and Maurice himself and its a mere sampling of what’s in-store on Maurice vs Mobetta; as Brown has more in store, not only on this new effort, but coming down the pike. Know that Maurice vs Mobetta is a gumbo sound lab for this dynamic young trumpet player-arranger-producer.

Triple Crown - Lets Get It Twisted!

Young Tox is a 23-year old rapper from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada who is beginning to make his presence felt. Some of the MC's accomplishments include opening for hip-hop heavyweights such as J.Cole, Tyga, French Montana, Jadakiss, Ace Hood, T-Pain, D-Block, Royce Da 5'9 and Waka Flocka, His recent tour of BC with fellow Edmonton artist Chubbs has given him momentum headed into the release of his debut LP which drops this summer.
