Illus - The Gift (Feat. Ill Bill, Blueprint & DJ Johnny Juice)
"The Gift" features Blueprint, Ill Bill and DJ Johnny Juice discussing what "Family First" means to them. It is a love letter to my son, my family and the universal HIPHOP family. I shot and edited this with help from my wife, learning Adobe Premier and After Effects as I went, so I could share these very special moments in our lives with all of you. This isn't your typical HIPHOP song, nor is it meant to be a "hit" or a "banger". It's simply an incredible beat produced by DJ Johnny Juice and some honest, heart felt words by some very talented artists and a message to my son that I hope he will appreciate later in life.

Quake Matthews - Warrior (Feat. JRDN)
Quake Matthews has returned to the scene with his sophomore release The Book Of Matthew. The track and accompanying music video mark the first solo effort for the Halifax hip-hop artist since 2010’s The Myth.
The Book Of Matthew is available for free download at quakematthews.com. The 11-track project features production from industry heavy-weights like J. Cardim (Lil Wayne, Joe Budden, Ludacris) and Tone Mason (Drake, Jay-Z) and guest appearances from Freeway, Termanology and Canadian R&B crooner JRDN.
The 23-year old described the project “I feel I’ve really come into my own as an artist since The Myth was released. I named the album The Book Of Matthew because it’s a very reflective, personal record of my journey thus far in music. I want to give fans a taste of everything, not just the good times, but the highs the lows and all the moments that define who I am in between.”
Cameron GreY - Just Dream
Cameron GreY speaks directly to “GenerationY” with his new video for “Just Dream” as it encapsulates the hopes, thoughts, wishes and yes “dreams” of all upcoming/starving artists!
Upon releasing his first mixtape, Space Jams, (hosted by Mr. Peter Parker & DJ Ill Will) in 2009 Cameron GreY began opening for established acts such as Clipse, Big Sean, Wiz Khalifa, Travis Porter, Asher Roth, Twista, Chip Tha Ripper, Machine Gun Kelly. Opening up for those artists set the table for his second mixtape, N.A.S.A. (Never Allowing Success To Alter), in 2011, which quickly became a fan-favorite at Datpiff.com.
Continuing a story is never easy (most movie sequels validate as much), but Columbus, Ohio native Cameron GreY’s latest mixtape, Crash Landing, is not necessarily a sequel, as much as it is a continuum from where he left off with N*A*S*A*. Cameron GreY’s music soars with the astronauts and all spacey inhabitants and Crash Landing proves that he cannot be confined to time nor space (nor should you!).
Crash Landing includes a collaboration (“If I Were King”) with fellow Columbus native Copywrite.

Illus & J-Live - Magical
Illus is one of Hip-Hop’s best kept secrets; an underground emcee and artist hailing from Connecticut, and he has toured the globe and worked with some of the greatest emcees of all time including Chuck D. (Public Enemy), Dilated Peoples, Blackalicious, R.A. the Rugged Man, and more.
A professional art teacher and world-famous illustrator, Illus is responsible for the official Public Enemy comic book series and has designed and illustrated album art and merchandise for legendary artists such as KRS-One and Boogie Down Productions, Freddie Foxxx, Statik Selektah, J-Live, Ill Bill, Apathy, Public Enemy and more.
In 2011, Illus released For Adam, a ten-track collection of songs that epitomize the very best of what Hip-Hop has to offer as an art form and culture; positivity, a hardcore sound, passionate delivery and meaningful lyrics and beats that penetrate the mind and soul and leave the audience feeling inspired. For Adam also featured an incredible collection of talented artists ranging from legends like Freddie Foxxx and Craig G. to newer game-changers like Homeboy Sandman and Eternia and was exclusively produced by JJ Brown 2012 promises to be an even better year for Illus, as he and his wife recently welcomed the birth of their first child and his new project, Family First, (due to be released on 5-29-2012) focuses on the shared love of that experience to create 12-tracks that mend meaningful, powerful, heart-felt lyrics to hardcore Hip-Hop production. Family First is a celebration of family and life both in the literal sense and that of the larger global Hip-Hop community and the connection we all have through our children and the spirit, heart, passion and soul of the culture. On Family First, Illus collaborates lyrically and sonically with some of best emcees and producers in the business. Each emcee featured is also the producer of the track they appear on and this collaborative process is a first for any Hip-Hop project.
Family First is also co-produced by Public Enemy luminary DJ Johnny Juice and the star-studded guest emcee/producer list includes; Apathy, Ill Bill, Blueprint, J-Live, Erin Barra, Headsnack, Phashara, Chuuwee, Esoteric and more.
