Topping the list includes his mentor and former college professor, super producer 9th Wonder, and YMCMB artist Cory Gunz. Formerly of the NC based rap duo Mic&Rep, well respected publications such as The Source Magazine's "Unsigned Hype" have highlighted Steele's potential, as well as a slew of the top online blog sites. As Mark prepares to go full steam into the run leading up to the release of his forthcoming mixtape, Empty Auditorium, (which will be released on 11-12-2013 and features an appearance from Rapsody) his ascension up the Hip-Hop ladder becomes more apparent with every verse, as he is determined to take his place with the elite artists of his generation. Logan P. McCoy - Black Morning

Brooklyn rapper Logan P. McCoy presents the Dylan Verrechia-directed music video for "Black Morning", the new single from his EP Strength Of Character. "Black Morning" captures the frustration I felt as a young man in desperate need for personal change but without a clue as to how to bring about this change in my life," says Logan. "We all go through growing pains and we all have our unique ways of dealing. In my alcohol and weed fueled meditation, I reached the conclusion that death might be the necessary catalyst for the change that I was so desperately seeking." Logan describes the Strength Of Character EP as "an experiment that became the foundation of a new sound. Initially my idea was to poke fun at '90s style rock/pop music that MTV had made popular. Being first and foremost an underground MC, I thought it would be funny being that I didn't play any instruments and knew nothing about making rock music. Having no band or instruments to craft the sound I had in mind, I decided to follow the Hip Hop tradition that I came from of flipping what I had to accomplish my goals." Strength Of Character is available now on Logan's Bandcamp page.

"Just vibing off the beat, this track turned into a nostalgic piece where I started to rhyme about all types of stuff from Hip Hop's 90's hey day," says E. "I brought on Rome Cee and Kane Mayfield for the track, although the version for the video only has Rome. Both Rome and Kane know how to paint vivid pictures and were able to bring that clear imagery of what the whole 90's Hip Hop shit was really like. I used the Katt Williams sample because I always loved that bit and how he said that. It just struck me one day to make that a hook so I ran with it." Baltimore Bruin is available now on E's Bandcamp page.

But that wasn't the direction to go in, and I know that now." Upon its release, Tical 0: The Prequel debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 chart, and was certified gold by the RIAA. It has that kind of vibe, we then confirmed Ruste & Afu to get on there and you have a potential NYC classic joint!"
