Jon Connor - Blackout
New video off of "While You Were Sleeping". One of the hardest working artist back in 2012. He earned a spot as one of my favourites and I hope he continues to keep this up in 2013.
Bambu - Brave Heart
I like Bambu's music because he often has a positive message to his music. Been a while since I heard something new from him so its good to see that he is back. Here is he newest music video "Brave Heart". Im not enjoying the beat tho.
Snowgoons - Prayn In The Rain (Feat. Eshon Burgundy)
The German producer hookin up with Philly rapper Eshon Burgundy to release their music video for "Prayn In The Rain", from the Snowgoons album "Snowgoons Dynasty" 2012.
Cookin Soul - Diggin
An instrumental track by the hip hop producer Cookin Soul. Check out Amsterdam in the snow!
Kyle Rapps - Get It In (Feat. Action Bronson)
Jersey suburbanite turned Harlem emcee Kyle Rapps teams up with Vice heavy hitter Action Bronson to deliver visuals for "Get It In." In this clip, director Robbie Barclay photoshops faces of Rapps and Bronson over well known classic and contemporary paintings and media moments ranging from the Mona Lisa to Muhammed Ali to Seinfeld; while keeping the rapper's mouths in live motion.
Both of these artists can clearly rap they asses off, and Kyle Rapps is defintely a new name to look out for.
Trek Life - Wouldn't Change Nothing (Prod. Oddisee)
This song is the sum of all my most genuine fears on the path to success. I didn't try to speak for everyone when I wrote it, I just felt like I needed to express all the fear, loss and fuck it that goes on in those quiet moments away from the mic. There's triumph in the end though. When through it all you realize that there's nothing you would change. You accept the challenge and know that it only makes the success sweeter. - Trek Life

I wasn't a big fan of The Kid Daytona when I 1st heard his music but now he is slowly turning into one of my favourites.
Smoke DZA - Gotham Fucking City (Feat. Joey Bada$$)
Smoke DZA and Joey Bada$$ create a bleak black-and-white portrait of New York City.

The “Papi Wardrobe Kings” renaissance continues as he commingled with his Wu-Tang comrades on RZA’s “The Man With The Iron Fists” OST on the Wu-Tang Clan reunion track “Six Directions Of Boxing” and with his appearance on the Wu-Tang Clan & D-Block project "Wu-Block,” Wu-Tang Clan's tenth official member, Cappadonna, returns with his own forthcoming double-CD, 'Eyrth, Wynd & Fyre,' which will be released on 2-26-2013 on RBC Records.

Along with a new video, “Puffed On Pride,” today, I have also included the second installment of Cappadonna’s three-part webisode series “Eyrth, Wynd & Fyre.” Part one of the series addressed the construction of his new album, the players involved, Cap's recent features alongside RZA & Wu-Block, his upcoming 40-city tour (which starts in late February), Wu-Tang reunion plans and much more. Part two of the webisode series includes Cappadonna discussing his own & the Wu-Tang Clan live experience, Cap's fondest memories building with the Clan from then till now, & earning praises of Hip-Hop fans worldwide!

When the “Demigodz Is Back” track was initially released, there was a “fan-made” video created for it that was in circulation—which was not the official video; here is the official video for Demigodz “Demigodz Is Back.”
Uptown XO - Flowers
Uptown XO continues to offer raw emotive rhymes that open windows to his world. The cold, gun toting exterior often belies the humanity behind it all. XO offers a story not unlike many with scarface dreams born of section 8, but fresh in its minutia the way only truth can be. The disection of this textured story's cycle from evictions as a youth to the echos from the fridge; from the sales of kush in orange bubbles, to the understanding of how it employs the lawyers, the judges, the DA, and the jail workers; - all poignantly wrapped in the phrase "damn, ni&&as just didn't want to flip burgers." Earnest reflection over ill production. The sometimes morbid take on life culminates with the mantra "I got mouths to feed till they put flowers on me."
AB The Pro produces the haunting track for Uptown XO to reflect and lay relish over, while director Backie Thomas creates stark visuals, brilliant in color, framing, and movement. It's all prelude to the new album "Colour de Grey" coming from Mello Music Group Janaury 29th.

Sean Price - Genesis of the Omega
"The Genesis of the Omega sounded better than the start of the ending. I was just trying to be slick with the words. The Genesis, you know that's the beginning of The Bible. The Omega, that's the end. On some punk shit, read too many comic books. lol” - Sean P!
Cool Hand Lukey - On The Map

AZ - Genesis
The Year is officially starting off with a bang as Grammy-Nominated Recording Artist, Anthony "AZ" Cruz, marks his highly anticipated return to the Hip Hop scene with the release of a brand new freestyle, Genesis. With this new freestyle, AZ is preparing his fans for the release of his new album Doe or Die II, which will be released later this year. Since the release of the Doe or Die anniversary album in 2011, AZ has been working to perfect each song for the new album. Fans will definitely be pleased with the follow up.
AZ first became known by appearing on Nas' landmark 1994 album Illmatic on the song "Life's a Bitch", as well as featuring vocals on the opening track "The Genesis". He was the only guest feature to appear on that album. AZ signed with EMI, and soon released his debut album Doe Or Die in 1995 to critical acclaim. The album's lead single, "Sugar Hill", became one of AZ's major commercially successful records as a solo artist, reaching #25 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and achieving Gold status. In 2002, he released Aziatic from which his single "The Essence" (featuring Nas), was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group.
Today, AZ is back and better than ever. Check out the new Genesis freestyle and stay tuned for Doe or Die II coming soon. AZ is also currently touring and available for bookings.
