The Unspoken Heard (Asheru & Blue Black) - Truly Unique
Wanted to post this because most rap/hip hop listeners are not familliar with them. This is a video from MC Asheru featuring his older brother Blue Black on the beats as rapgroup duo "The Unspoken Heard". From their classic collab album "Soon Come LP" wich was released in 2001.
J. Ivy - War (Feat. Blitz The Ambassador)
Never head of J. Ivy or Blitz the Ambassador but this song is really good so its worth a listen, J. Ivy sounds a little like Sha Stimula.
In his college years, Grammy/Emmy-award winner J. Ivy was known around campus and his native Chicago simply as "The Poet". Soon after, he was storming the stage of Russell Simmons' Def Poetry, soon followed by the studio where Kanye West and Jay-Z invited him to guest on "Never Let Me Down", a track on Kanye's Grammy-winning College Dropout album. He has performed and collaborated with everyone from RZA to Erykah Badu to Bo Diddley to Martha Stewart. He gave the soul singer formerly known as John Stephens the name John Legend. His voice and lyricism have been heard on national programs like the TV show ER, HBO Boxing, and Sunday Night Football. And now, he proudly presents the music video for "War", as seen on MTV Jams. "War" is a track from his latest album Here I Am, released on Ivyous Entertainment. J. can be seen as the host of the newest segment of the Fuse Network's Hip Hop Shop.
Unable to learn from the mistakes that were made before us, today's climate has grown harsher than ever. We've seen the results of destruction and turmoil, yet we continue down the same coldhearted path. It's evident that the same battles that raged in the past haunt our current existence. It's evident that we are still at WAR.
Here to address the issue is Grammy & Emmy Award Winning Poet, J. Ivy, who teamed up with Film Director Kurt Williamson (Kurtwurks) in attempt to shed light on a much needed discussion. From Los Angeles to Chicago to New York to Washington D.C., J. Ivy and Kurt Williamson traveled the country to create this visual entitled "WAR," which features Hip-Hop MC, Blitz the ambassador. "WAR" has true to life visual elements that spark realistic conversations needed for the healing of today's society.

Notes To Self - Nobody (Feat. Evidence)
Remember back in the day when you had that 1 Homie who would video tape & record every rap video on TV, or every rap show on the radio? Used to go over to the crib and bug out over new sh*t, even if he only caught the last half of the joint, y'all would still go crazy over it right?
Fast forward 15 years, the Homie has a box of 30 or so VHS cassette tapes sittin dusty in a drawer with names like "Rap City", "Summer Jam", "The Box", "In Da Round" scrolled on the side of'em in some youthful hand-styles fit for a wall or two - and you're like, I need to watch these, take you back, rappin along with every word like it was yesterday. But you ain't mad raps evolved, cus you fu*k with the new sh*t, cus back then "this was the new shit".
Maybe that same Homie back back in the day, meticulously catches the last 50 seconds of that new Jeru joint, making Moms change the channel quick fast in order to record it, cus Rap City is on. Leaving you wondering how Prem does it, making them sound so good right, and saying to yourself "I wanna rap like them".

Sha Stimuli - Runaway Slavestyle
Sha Stimuli spits over Kanye West's Runaway instrumental to vent a little bit about the game and life. He slightly addresses the flow used by Big Sean and Drake that got Ludacris fired up. Directed by Liquid Sunshine.
This song can be found on "Unsung vol. 1 The Garden Of Eden".

The Roots - Sleep
4th music video off The Roots "Undun" album wich will be released on 6 December, featuring Aaron Livingston produced by Hot Sugar.
undun is an existential re-telling of the short life of one Redford Stephens (1974-1999). Through the use of emotives and Redford's internal dialogues the album seeks to illustrate the intersection of free will and prescribed destiny as it plays out 'on the corner'. Utilizing a reverse narrative arc, the album begins as the listener finds Redford disoriented--postmortem--and attempting to make sense of his former life. As he moves through its pivotal moments he begins to deconstruct all that has led to his (and our own) coming undun.
