Moshav - World on Fire (Feat. Matisyahu)
In time for Hanukkah, Moshav releases its new music video, "World on Fire" featuring Grammy-nominated artist, Matisyahu. At a time when holiday shoppers are tripping over each other to buy presents, the video shows that the greatest of gifts requires very little money. The camera follows a $20 bill as it passes through the hands of children and adults that have different hopes and hardships. Produced by Bancs Media, the video boasts a stellar cast of actors. Moshav, whose first studio album was titled "The Things You Can't Afford" continues the theme of kindness as the best currency in their new album "New Sun Rising.""World on Fire" is the infectious lead single of the album. Moshav takes the stage this Saturday night in Park Slope as part of the 9th Annual Sephardic Music Festival (7:30pm @ 401 9th St. Brooklyn, NY 11215).

Raised in Israel on Moshav Mevo Modiin, a musical village in the hills between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, Moshav's Yehuda Solomon (vocals, percussion) and Duvid Swersky (vocals, guitar) learned and played music together since childhood. Continuously touring across the United States and the world, including festivals in Australia, Canada and Europe, Moshav built a large following. After releasing and selling over 50,000 of their self produced albums, the band eventually caught the eye of producer Ron Aniello (Lifehouse, Guster, Barenaked Ladies) and Clif Norrell (R.E.M., Jeff Buckley, Sting). Aniello went on to produce their album Misplaced while Norrell went on to produce their follow up, Dancing in a Dangerous Word. The bands music has traces of its musical influences which include Pearl Jam as well as the the late Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach who founded the Moshav in which Solomon grew up. Moshav continue to tour the world and compose modern Jewish music for the worlds stage
